E rere te awa - Whanganui's fish and bird life is a non-profit project created for the Whanganui Regional Museum. It is a multimedia exhibition featuring the habitats of native birds and fish within the Wanganui region. The multi-touch screen enables users navigate the map and explore the habitats. Users can also explore traditional cultural uses of some extinct wild life as well as conservation programmes.
